Nerea Arce Masnú

Nerea (she/her/ella) is a Latina artist and illustrator born in Mendoza, Argentina and based in Miami, Fl. She is an immigrant, a survivor of trauma, a feminist and a work in progress.

Her body of work continuously explores and challenges different ideas, emotions, and texture through the use of pastels, thread and sometimes nontraditional materials like coffee, tea, fabric and leaves. Her art is in continuous motion and often differs a lot in styles. In addition to healing through the arts, Nerea is very passionate about activism and often uses her art to support and openly express her views. She currently resides in the beach with her two dogs, Frida & Picasso and her partner, all whom she is endlessly thankful for. And of course, her parents.
